The Ultrasound Department is equipped with technically advanced machinery having an excellent resolution for advanced diagnostic imaging.

The Department of Sonography has recently installed a new machine - the ATL 5000 with XRES and Panoramic Sono CT imaging.

There are two high-end machines with a wide array of 12 dedicated probes for performing different examinations depending on age, size, and habitus of the patient, and the examination to be performed.

The first is a top of the line colour Doppler machine – the Philips ATL 5000 with the revolutionary XRES and Panoramic Sono CT imaging. The second machine is the Philips ATL HDI Ultramark 9 Colour Doppler Unit.Numerous diagnostic as well as therapeutic procedures are performed in the USG department.
