We perform interventional radiological
procedures where aneurysms and AV malfunctions are being treated
by coiling and embolization in the Cathlab by our Neuro-Radiologists.
Patients have successfully undergone these procedures, and have
made a remarkable recovery without requiring surgery on the
brain.
Another non-invasive procedure being performed at the Hospital
is the Neuro Endoscopy, where tumours can be removed, and shunts
placed in the ventricles, using endoscopes.
Equipments used.
The Department of Neuro-Surgery is fully equipped with modern
equipment to tackle various neuro-surgical ailments which include
Neuro Endoscopy, Stereo tactic surgery, MICRO vascular surgery
for aneurysms, and AV malfunctions, to name a few.
