Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital Department of Neurology is a well-recognised department for teaching, and is much sought after by students doing their post-graduation in medicine.

Patients with cerebrovascular stroke, G. B. Syndrome, meningitis, parkinson’s disease,Epilepsy, Neuropathies and disorders like dementia, brain tumours, Spinal Cord Compression etc. are investigated diagnosed and treated. Joint radiological and Neurosurgical meetings are held.

The department has state-of-the-art equipment for conducting electroencephalography (EEG) and electromyography (EMG) tests. We conduct Video EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, evoked potential studies, including V.E.P., B.A.E.R. and the P300 latency study. The department will shortly be starting sleep studies.
